Fulong beach is a special place to be as it is surrounded by the sea on one side and the rived on the other. The scenery looks already amazing, when we got there.

My piece title’s : -The same shirt-(3 rd place)

When we are born we are all the same, for the first day, maybe for the first hours. Then we go home and we enter a rich house or a poor house, we get Christian education or Islamic, Bubbhist. We start to dress a t-shirt or a dress or a veil.Sometime we think we are in opposition, that border are divining us..
We wear all the same shirt: back on the first day of evenness.

Sand and Colors

Weymouth – Dorset England, March 2015
SandWorld ,  sand sculpture festival this year explore the them of “Best of British”.

i took part to this event, as i did with pleasure for the 4th time n the last 5  years .

The preparation , and the carving time take place normally a couple of week before the opening, that means middle of March.

For me it is always the first project of the sand season.I gear up myself and sharp my tools to realize my first sand sculpture of the year!Working with beach-sand is quite special, as mos of the time organizer choose and deliver river sand .

Weymouth beach sand is one of the most performing sand i have been working for.

This year as the theme of British we could not miss to have in the exposition William Turner.
That was my task fort he second week i have been there.I soon tough how difficult would be to talk about color using only sand color..

Turner was a excellent painter and amazed everybody for his innovation on viewing the light and colors.I decided to experiment colors on sand.I always have been skeptical on this combination of media, because as a sculptor i like more to work with light and shade.

I found  challenging to make my first colored sand sculpture .

We chose as inspiration Turner painting :“The Fighting ‘Téméraire’ “.

I used acrylic colors on water base , on synthetic base paint.

Carnival in Gambettola

March 2015 i have been ask to join the team of -Giovani tonici- working on the coming carnival event.Since many years the famous Carnival in Gambettola is a show on a parade crossing the town center.
This group found his inspiration on the Belgian festival Neverland.
On the front part of their scene there was a female android face emerging from a open book.I took care of this part of the composition , carving it in polystyrene , during the 2 days available i had at that time.

Nice collaboration.

The event took place last Monday easter and on the 12th April.
